Dynamites/ LiL Dragons | A beginner Karate class designed to improve coordination, awareness of stranger danger, instill self-esteem, and teach basic karate skills through games and age-appropriate activities. Ages 3 to 6

Karate | Beginner Karate classes are focused on basic skill sets and building a firm foundation for continued martial art training. This is a required class for students with a belt rank of white, yellow, and orange and covers the requirements for achieving these ranks as well as graduating to green belt status. Advanced students are recommended to attend one beginning class a month as a refresher to themselves and to share experience with lower ranking students. Advanced Karate is a required class for students with a belt rank of green or higher. It covers requirements for continued achievement in belt ranking as well as introducing students to higher forms of kata, weapons, and other schools of martial arts. Open Karate is available to all students allowing more interaction and sharing amoung the belt ranks. It covers a variety of material depending on what is the hot topic of the week and is often broken into small group sessions to better serve the students. |  |
Jujitsu/ Judo | Jujitsu provides students with submission techniques for defense against physically larger opponents. While Judo is a sport that focuses on throws, pins, and chokes as a means of self-defense and competition. Our program is nationally certified by the United States Judo Association (USJA) and the PCMA. |  |
| Aikido | Aikido (a circular style) uses guided movement and joint locks to project and immobilize an opponent. Law enforcement officers use it because it emphasizes passive restraint techniques.

| Sparring | Our sparring class focuses on safety first and teaches the sport of "touch" sparring for tournament purposes. It also allows students to get a feel for actual use of technique and skills against an opponent or attacker and is recommended for all students of green belt rank or above. |

| Weapons | Weapons class teaches knowledge as well of application of traditional and contemporary weapon technique. It also allows advanced students to work on free-form kata for tournament purpose with instructional supervision.

| Belt Material | This is dedicated class time focused on the material necessary to achieve belt ranking. This time is customized to the current rank of the attending students and reinforces knowledge of basic movements, stances, and katas. |  |
| Kata | Kata class is offered to improve student technique and practice fundamentals of kata form. This class is recommended for all students and is extremely important for those competing in upcoming events or preparing for a belt test. |  |
| Forms | Forms is offered to improve student technique in all areas. This class is recommended for all students and is extremely important for those competing in upcoming events or preparing for a belt test. |  |
