I've been bringing my son for a few weeks now. He has never had this much fun with any sport until I put him in karate. He runs around the house now saying he is a karate master (mind you he's 4). I'm very impressed with how patient everyone is with the little kids and understands that they just need to learn it like the big kids!! I'm also impressed with how well behaved and obedient all their other groups are and ready for the next step.

Long's Shotokan Karate Academy has helped me in so many ways. My self confidence is rising, my body is stronger, quicker and more agile. Having a serious neck injury as a child caused me to develop a constant pain syndrome, but when I'm on the mat it all disappears. I forget about everything else. It is a challenge but isn't that the point? Yes...it is. My gratitude is immeasurable!

My son and I started with Long's Karate over 20 years ago. Both of us obtaining our black belts. I still train there a couple of nights a week and my son wants to come back. I am looking forward to bringing my grandkids in and hope that they will fall in love with martial arts and Long's Karate as have I. Exercise and stress reduction as well as the great people are what keep me coming back. Adults, you are never too old to learn something new. The hardest part is getting the courage to step on the mat the first time. If you expect your kids to do it you should try it too.

Sensei Long is a Master instructor. He is equally good with children and adults. He knows when to challenge and when to help. He has established a great team of black belt level teachers to give experienced instruction in many different styles/schools of martial arts.
My son and I have been there (2) months and we already feel we are a part of the community/family culture that Sensei Long has built there.
The value for the money, the people, and the instructors I would highly recommend for beginners or masters, and students of all ages.
